Day 4 is all about taking a look at another blog that is in the same niche as the my own blog. It is really hard to find a blog that is about doing reviews on pretty much everything, so I decided to do a write up on www.johnchow.com.  I have mentioned this site a time or two on my blog already, so maybe you are familiar with his site. If you haven’t had the chance to take a look at John’s site, you can feel free to take a look at it from the link above. The content at www.johnchow.com is all about helping you make money with your blog. It focuses alot of its effort into helping you getting setup with adsense and other affiliate programs like that. John also takes the time to help you make some money with Twitter, Facebook, and other websites related to those. He has a great email program that gives you advice and direction every week to learn as much as you can about making money from your website/blog.

John Chow does a great job of getting the reader involved involved in the site. There are many links to information for making money as well as links to other sites to learn from them. John has some of his own companies to help you with monetizing your site/blog, and does a good job of helping you get involved with those companies as well.

Lastly, I wanted to talk about the design of John’s site. I have touched on this particular topic in a previous post which you can find here. Anyways, I like the design of John’s blog. It is well setup for ads and its pretty obvious that he is able to make some money with his design layout. At first I felt like it was overdone and cluttered, but I don’t really feel that way any longer. I have tried to use the same idea on my blog, but have sense decided that I would rather have less ads and more content. Hopefully that will work out well for me in the future.

I really like www.johnchow.com and I am an avid reader. There is an enormous wealth of information on this blog and I learn more and more everyday. It is very clear that he has been doing things right with his blog and that he is trying very hard to teach anyone that wants to learn.
